Where does Freedom Festival take place? Freedom Festival is at Drakes Creek Park near baseball field 1.
What time will the fireworks begin? We will try our hardest to be on schedule and start the fireworks at 9 PM. However, if the weather isn't cooperating we will adjust accordingly. Which means we may start a bit earlier or later if needed. Fireworks are weather permitting.
Where can I park and is there a fee? You can park in Drakes Creek Park in designated areas and parking is FREE. However, parking is very limited and available on a first come basis.
Can I put up a tent? You can only set up a tent on the East side of Cherokee Rd. N. (the side by the water). You are NOT permitted to put up a tent in front of the stage. This area is reserved for Freedom Festival Sponsors.
Can I bring my dog? Dogs are allowed in the park, but they must be kept on a leash at all times.
Can I bring alcohol to the event? Alcohol is not permitted anywhere in the park.
What are the hours for the Kid's Zone? The Kid's Zone opens at 5 PM and will close at dusk.
Will there be food available? Yes! We will have a full lineup of food vendor ready to serve you and most will accept cash and cards.
